My Story
Hey, I’m Ethan!
It started with a road trip.
Junior year of college 7 buddies and I packed into two cars, drove straight from Ohio to Colorado, and didn’t stop until we hit the mountains. We called it – The West Express! Over one spring break we hit Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Zion, and the Grand Canyon — camping every night. We let the days unfold with unexpected moments often making up the highlights of the trip – just like all the best adventures!
What I Believe About Travel
When I think about my best memories, they happened on a trail with a friend or family member. Around a campfire that went later than it should have. At the top of a mountain that we weren’t sure we could climb. In a car, at 11pm, somewhere between states, everyone laughing at something we can never fully explain. Travel does something to us. It breaks the routine. It puts us shoulder to shoulder with the people we love and gives us something shared — a story that belongs to all of us. It shows us beauty we didn’t know existed. It teaches us things about ourselves that a normal Tuesday never could.

Maybe you’ve been wanting to visit a national park but feel overwhelmed by the logistics. Maybe you want to plan a trip with friends but don’t know how to make it actually work. Maybe you’ve got a few days off and you want to do something exciting — something you’ll still be talking about years from now.
That’s exactly why this site exists. I’ve spent years planning trips like these — figuring out the routes, the campsites, the hikes worth doing. I want to share all of that with you.
Think of this as your well-traveled friend who’s already done the trip — and wants to make sure yours is even better.
